OUR MISSION STATEMENT AND EDUCATIONAL MANDATE

Literacy Council York South aims to create a haven where students feel safe to tackle their fears and accomplish all of their goals - we provide a free, confidential tutoring service.

The resources and methods of Laubach Literacy Ontario Canada, linked to ProLiteracy (USA) and Laubach Literacy International, provide the core ingredients for our success. These contribute to our strengths and core competencies. The Laubach method is an integrated series designed to teach adults reading, writing, and numeracy.
